I am originally from Stockbridge, Michigan, a small town outside of Lansing. I now reside in Dearborn. I grew up the oldest of 3 children…and the only girl. In 2005, I graduated from Eastern Michigan University. Go green! After graduation and working as a family nanny, I moved to Chicago. I taught at a public charter school in Chicago. That is where I also worked at a traveling camp for 2 summers. I was able to sight see all over the Windy City and its suburbs. I had a blast! Soon after, I returned to Michigan and worked with Jackson Public Schools and Sylvan Learning Center. This is my 5th year at PACE Academy! I am currently completing my master’s degree at EMU. I am working on a masters in reading. Some activities I really enjoy are being outdoors (boating, canoeing, biking), fashion, art, and education.
